Randy T. Nobleza is a volunteer and archivist of the Marindukanon Studies Center and Info Shop Marinduque. He is also a fulltime instructor at Marinduque State College School of Arts and Sciences, former School Publication Head, former Unit Director of the MSC Gender Advancement and Development, also an Independent Media Center Marinduque volunteer. He obtained a certificate in creative writing in Filipino from the University of the Philippines in 2005 and a degree in Philippine Studies from the said institution in 2007. He was chosen as a fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism in 2011. He was able to present his final portfolio entitled Kawomenan: gender in development in Marinduque the following year. He also presented his graduate thesis entitled Independent Media Center Marinduque as an alternative tool for research and communication less than a week after. Now, he is preparing for his proposed dissertation thesis on Creating the Commons: Social Movements in Asia Pacific and Building Futures without a blueprint.
